Luxury homebuilder  ·  Brand campaign

How a single brand campaign helped Camelot outsell the luxury downturn by 18%.

Camelot Homes — Classics Never Go Out of Style campaign

The Problem

A marketing strategy built for growth, in a market that stopped growing.

As the luxury housing market tightened, Camelot Homes faced declining transactional activity in a category driven by buyer hesitation. Their marketing had always focused on individual developments — no company-level brand existed to carry trust between projects or across a downturn.

The Insight

In a downturn, buyers don't need more reasons to act. They need permission to feel certain.

Equity, not promotion, was the answer. The work needed to position Camelot as the timeless choice, not the trending one — a brand built for buyers who weren't buying on impulse in the first place.

What we did

Camelot's first-ever company-level brand campaign.

Led the creation and rollout of Classics Never Go Out of Style — Camelot's first brand campaign at the company level, applied across print, digital, and on-site experience. The campaign repositioned Camelot from a development marketer to a luxury brand with a point of view worth believing in.

Classics Never Go Out of Style — Campaign hero
Digital campaign — display and social
Print — full-page media placements
On-site experience — model home
Collateral — sales materials

The Result

18%
Faster sell-through on the most recent development versus historical averages.
7
MAME awards, including Best Overall Advertising.

Camelot credited the campaign with helping them outperform the broader luxury market during a period when most competitors were pulling back.

The brand equity built during the downturn didn't expire. It compounded across future launches — each new development borrowing from the parent story the campaign established.

Recognition

7 MAME awards, including Best Overall Advertising — the top honor from the Arizona Building Industry's annual awards recognizing excellence in homebuilder marketing.
